Depuis son enfance, Ingrid a vu son père planifier et exécuter des travaux publics en utilisant la pierre ollaire comme matière première principale. La designer Ingrid Peixoto a décidé de transformer cette superbe matière première et son savoir-faire dans son utilisation, combinée au bois massif Angelim, pour créer de belles pièces décoratives pour centres de table et environnements qui visent une touche de raffinement et de sophistication. Elle signe le projet et coordonne et supervise la fabrication de chaque détail produit.
Le studio est basé à Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brésil. La menuiserie est apparue comme une nécessité en raison du manque de main d'œuvre disponible pour produire des meubles. Tout a commencé par le dessin et la conception de meubles. La production implique un savoir-faire manuel de meubles et d'objets décoratifs utilisant des techniques de menuiserie traditionnelles.

Geometric Vases - These handmade vases are made with teak wood, an alternative source of wood from a reforestation area. Beyond the aesthetic aspect of teak of having unique color tones and textures in each piece, it has a lot of silica - an natural oil that acts preventing the penetration of excess moisture and also repels termites and insects. Thus, teak becomes the perfect wood to be used as a flower pot. The forms are inspired by the natural geoforms, such as rocks and crystals.

The aesthetics of the contemporary design school are characterized by minimalism in lines, forms, and materials, aiming to achieve the essential. Subdued colors are used to provide tranquility and comfort. There is an exchange with Germany, involving contact with German and Scandinavian design.

Garopaba has a history closely tied to the sea, whether it be fishing, tourism/beach activities, surfing, or whale watching. It is a reference to the coastal region we are located in.
